Ludovic & Zoran Boukherma

Ludovic & Zoran Boukherma are French twin brothers who co-write and co-direct. Perrault, La Fontaine, mon cul!, a short they directed, won the Student Jury Prize at the Clermont- Ferrand International Short Film Festival. The duo went on to create their first feature film, Willy the 1st, when they were a mere 23 years old. The film was presented by ACID at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and won the Prix d’Ornano-Valenti Award for Best French First Film at the Deauville Asian Film Festival. Ludo and Zoran’s second film, Teddy, was released in 2021, following a successful festival run including official selection at Cannes. In 2022, for their third feature film, L'Année du Requin stood out as one of the first French films to explore the shark genre in cinema.

Their latest project, an adaptation of the 2018 Prix Goncourt-winning novel Leurs Enfants après Eux, by Nicolas Mathieu, is set to hit theaters on December 4, 2024. With a stellar cast, the two brothers continue to solidify their position as some of France’s most promising filmmakers.
