Born in Frankfurt, Matthaüs cultivated a passion for film from an early age.
Before taking up directing, he learned the ropes of production and post-production, moving from lighting to camera, before becoming an outstanding editor.
Matthaüs is always on the lookout for new challenges, and loves to transform an idea into a visual, sensory and narrative experience that engages the viewer.
He has put his talent for capturing human emotions at the service of international brands such as VW, Mercedes, Coca Cola and Reebok, to name but a few.
