Martin Jauvat has lived in Chelles since his early childhood. After a brief and disillusioning career in the world of table tennis, he studied literature in Paris and began making films in his hometown in Seine-et-Marne. He self-produced several comedic short films, including Les vacances à Chelles and Mozeb. His first feature film, Grand Paris, produced by Ecce Films, was showcased in the ACID selection at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
