Martin Jauvat has lived in Chelles (77) since his childhood. After a brief, disillusioning career in ping-pong, he studied literature in Paris and began directing in his native Seine-et-Marne. He went on to make several self-produced comedy shorts, including "Les vacances à Chelles" and "Mozeb". His first feature film, "Grand Paris",  was presented at the ACID Cannes 2022.
