Adrien Dantou
After training in contemporary dance at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris, Adrien Dantou worked with various choreographers, including Daniel Dobbels, Benjamin Millepied, Yves Noël Genod and Raimund Hoghe. In 2016, he directed the trailers for the Opéra National de Paris, taking dance out of its usual context by often shooting outside the walls. He also directed “How did you get there?” in collaboration with the LADP and the Luma foundation in Arles. He also collaborates with Benjamin Millepied as creative assistant director on several of his films, including “Mutant Stage”, “Hearts and Arrows” and “Passage to Dawn”. In parallel, he makes short films, dance films and installations. In 2015, the Cinémathèque francaise dedicated an evening to him and screened all his films as part of its “Aujourd'hui, le cinéma” programming.
Today, Adrien is pursuing his cinematic research as a director, as well as his work as a dancer and actor.
