Jesse Lewis-Reece
Jesse Lewis-Reece is a screenwriter and director whose meteoric rise as an emerging talent scarcely out of university is staggering. His stories of empathy and interconnectedness speak to a depth of human experience. Jesse’s first short film, Bleach, earned a BFI Flare, The Iris Prize, and four Royal Television Society Awards, including the Special Judge’s Jury Award and Best Drama. His second short film, Eyelash, garnered five Gold Screen awards at the 2020 Young Director Awards, two Golds at Berlin Commercial, and a host of selections at major film festivals. In addition to his stellar narrative work, he has helmed a branded film for Sky Sports featuring elite boxer Harlem Eubank. Lewis-Reece recently completed a project for the Royal National Institute of Blind People which launches later this fall.
His short film, for RNIB See the Person has won bronze at the british arrows, and was shortlisted at the 1.4 awards in 2023.
His recent film for RNIB "See the Person" was awarded a Bronze Arrow for Branded Entertainment and a Gold Arrow for Best New Director at the 2023 British Arrows.
