Lorcan Finnegan is an Irish screenwriter and director who has a background in graphic design, animation, and cinematography. Since discovering his passion for directing he has found critical success with his short films, TV commercials, music videos, and features. His short film for the Irish Film Board, Foxes, premiered at SXSW and won an IFTA for Best Short Film, as well as screening at many international festivals, including Tribeca Film Festival. His first feature, Without Name, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Lorcan’s second feature, the science-fiction film Vivarium, had its world premiere at Cannes Critics Week, where it received high praise. His new feature film NOCEBO premiered November 2022 in UK theatres.
